Hallo!!! Long time no see!(ok, so to me 4 days is long time...) But it's like sooooo many things hav happened like tt.(maybe coz I finished a 4-in-1, 533 pages thick novel, yes... in 3 days) Let's see...on Friday, at religious class, I learnt a few things that I didn't noe at all. At nite, I went to Geylang wif my parents. Then on Saturday, I was in sch from 9-3, then 6-10 like tt. 9-3, I was usherer for Temasek Open House, b4 tt, me n my frenz went to paste the footprints(ELDDS's hard work) for the route we're supposed to take the parents along. Then Mdm Audra brief us a bit more n we went on the route wif Mdm Audra telling us bout the things we shud tell the parents n stuff. Then about 1 I tink, we all went down to the foyer. We waited quite awhile b4 the parents come. Me n Nuurul didn't get anybody at first, but then there's this family, we took them, but they wanted to go for lunch first, sooo...we waited lor. Then we brought them to see the CCAs, then went to the 2nd floor, then the 3rd. We think it's kinda successful, the father kept saying tt it's a peaceful environment. I tink they were quite restless bout the long route but when I asked if they want a shorter version, they said it's k so we did the long one. But I tink tt's one girl I'll be seeing nx yr. But sumhow I wish I'm a PSL(peer support leader) but well, I'm juz a normal Temasekian...but I noe I dun hav the potential to realli be a leader...Nvm, 4get tt. So anywae, since we got a family late, n needed to go at 3, tt's the onli family we brought round the sch. At nite, from 6 pm tt is, me n Nuurul met to go for the Grad Nite. We're supposed to do an article on it. So we need infos n pics, but we didn't interview sumone yet, we were sooo tired n the sec 4s dun seem to wan to be umm...disturbed...so while talkin bout this, can anybody plz give me sum msn add of sec 4s tt went to the grad nite? Soo...then yest, not tt much happened, I woke up late n then I read my book, read my book and read my book. Then at nite, I sorted thru my brothers' books n arranged the stuff in the display cabinet n put out the Hari Raya crackers n stuff. Todae, I'm supposed to clean my room(oh no!!!) n change the sheets n everythin. Then need to find a place to store my brothers' books that I want. And I tink(oh no, oh no, I hope not!) I'll need to clean sum of the living room n the computer area. There's toooo many things in the house!! Sigh...I feel like my backbone n right ankle n upper arms might juz break. I noe I sound like an old granny or sumthin...but well...facts r facts...Oh all this talkin n everythin, I forgot to say, Selamat Hari Raya! May bygones be bygones n all wrongs be forgiven! Haru Raya is like....TOMORROW!!! Dun 4get to come to my house ok! I tink I've talked too much n am gettin dizzy from it, I'll juz state a quote from Lurlene McDaniel's Dawn Rochelle Quartet, "Life is a gift to those tt are allowed to go on living. They are living for all the ones who couldn't" Actually the book didn't actually quote tt, I juz changed a few words n stuff to make it fit in my life. Actually the book is about a 13 yr-old girl hu has cancer, leukemia. The 4-in-1 novel includes her life from 13-16. How she went thru her cancer, how she faced her friends in school, how she sort of got over seeing 2 of her cancer friends die, how she went thru the crucial times(she had even died once only to return back by following her brother's voice calling her), how she wants a normal life n how she does lead a normal life, but not so much of 'normal'. This book makes me want to be a nurse, help those kids who r less fortunate, hu hav to face pain everytime. To those hu don't cherish their live n tink tt life's unfair, read this book n think again. If a girl wif cancer can be grateful, y cant a normal person like u? I wish I can make a difference in their life...
